Bringing the Story of a Logo to Life
The logo creates a link between the host region and the sport of wrestling – a symbol that embodies tradition, strength and consistency in its stylised implementation. The logo has its roots in a place of national importance, the oak grove at Wildenstein Castle above Bubendorf.
The leaf was modeled and animated in 3D, then carefully composited into the footage.
Image Correction
Image correction and grading was the next task after creating the 3D animation.
A lot of detailed frame-by-frame correction work was necessary to bring out the best of the footage and many grey clouds had to be replaced with idyllic blue skies.
